All the three named accused have surrendered before the police in the case of beating a Dalit girl naked in Begusarai, Bihar. A video of this incident went viral. In this case, all the three accused surrendered due to fear of police raid and attachment. The accused had made a video of beating the girl, which they made viral. Begusarai Superintendent of Police Yogendra Kumar took the viral video seriously and handed over its investigation to the Sub-Divisional Police Officer.
According to the police, after seeing a middle-aged man and a girl in an objectionable state in this case, some people of the village behaved indecently and both were assaulted. In this case, the main accused Kishundev Chaurasia was arrested by the police team within 24 hours and sent to judicial custody.
According to the police, three other named accused of indecent behavior and assault in the viral video surrendered at Teghra police station fearing police raids and attachment of their houses.
Superintendent of Police Yogendra Kumar told that the three accused are seen tearing clothes and fighting in the viral video. It was he who made the video viral. All the named accused in this case have been arrested within 48 hours.
He said that all the accused will be punished severely by starting the charge sheet and speedy trial soon.
