AAP workers should work hard to win elections in Gujarat: Sanjay Singh

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh said on Saturday that if his party and opposition alliance ‘India’ contest the elections together, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will lose many seats in Gujarat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Addressing a conference of party workers here, Singh said leaders take decisions on various aspects of the alliance, but AAP workers should work hard to win the elections against the BJP.

“As my friends were saying in today’s meeting, if the India Alliance contests the elections together, the BJP will have to face a tough fight and they will lose in the Lok Sabha elections,” Singh said after holding a review meeting with state leaders. We will lose many seats in Gujarat.

He alleged that, “Youth in Gujarat have to struggle for jobs with salaries of Rs 5,000-10,000 per month.” He said, “When (MLA) Chaitra (Vasava) sought answers in the Assembly, the government Said that 10,000 government schools have been closed, 526 schools have been privatized, and there is a shortage of teachers…such is the situation of education in Gujarat.

Singh claimed that when former US President Donald Trump’s wife came to India, she visited “the wonderful schools built by Chief Ministers Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in Delhi instead of BJP-ruled states”. He urged people to vote on the basis of schools, employment and health care systems and not on the basis of Hindu or Muslim.
