The results of the candidates selected for the apprentice post of ONGC will be released on 5 October 2023. If we talk about how the selection will happen, it will depend on two aspects. Firstly, selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Second merit will be made and on the basis of these two, the names of the candidates whose selection will be finalized will be released on October 5.
Who can apply
To apply for these vacancies, it is necessary that the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 24 years. Age will be counted from 20 September 2023. Along with this, reserved category will get relaxation in age limit as per government rules.
As far as educational qualification is concerned, it is according to the post. For the post of Graduate Apprentice, candidates with BA, B.Com, BBA, BE, B.Tech or equivalent degree from a recognized university can apply.
For Diploma Apprentice, candidates with certificate/diploma from a recognized institute in the relevant field are eligible to apply. Similarly, for the post of Trade Apprentice, it is necessary for the candidate to have passed 10th/12th from a recognized board or have done ITI course in the related trade.
