IPL 2023: ‘Mumbai Indians’ will clash with CSK in the final, know why Ashwin has made such a claim?

R Ashwin On IPL 2023: Chennai Super Kings have got tickets for the final of IPL 2023 cut. The first qualifier match of the tournament was played between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans, in which Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led CSK emerged victorious by 15 runs. Meanwhile, Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who plays for Rajasthan Royals, claimed that Chennai will clash with Mumbai Indians in the final. Let us know why Ashwin made such a claim.

Hardik Pandya is currently the captain of Gujarat Titans and Krunal Pandya is handling the command of Lucknow in the absence of KL Rahul. After Chennai, there is a fight between Lucknow, Mumbai and Gujarat to reach the final of IPL 2023. While sharing the picture of the three players, Ashwin wrote in the caption, “So which Mumbai Indians Narendra Modi will play CSK at the stadium.”

Means Ashwin wanted to say through his story in a funny way that only Mumbai Indians will face Chennai Super Kings in the final, because Hardik Pandya is the captain of Gujarat, Rohit Sharma of Mumbai Indians and Krunal Pandya of Lucknow. In such a situation, whichever team reaches the final, the captain will be a former player of Mumbai Indians.
