Top 5 Best Prime Minister Of India: India Today Mood of the Nation has conducted a recent survey regarding the best Prime Minister of the country so far. This survey has been done between  15 July to 14 August 2023, whose figures were released last week. In this, about 13 thousand voters have been questioned at the ground level and their opinions have been taken. According to the survey, the popularity of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister has decreased slightly as compared to the last India Today survey conducted in January this year, but he still remains ahead in the race for the best PM of the country.

In the list of 5 best Prime Ministers in the survey released this month, three Congress  PMs and two BJP Prime Ministers are included. In the survey, the current PM Narendra Modi got a total of 43 percent votes, while Manmohan Singh, who was the Prime Minister in the UPA government before him, got 11 percent votes. Please tell that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of the country, is also involved in this, he got 6 percent votes. In this survey, Atal Bihari Vajpayee got 12 percent votes while Indira Gandhi is second in the list of best prime minister with 15 percent vote support. Data of the survey every 6 months after January 2022 
Modi’s popularity as Prime Minister has decreased by 4 percent from 47 percent found in the January survey this year. Although in January 2022, PM Modi got the lowest 34 percent votes. In August 2022, his popularity had increased to 45 percent. PM Modi’s popularity has increased in the list of four surveys conducted between January 2022 and August 2023. Whereas in the survey released this month, he got 4 percent less votes.

Indira Gandhi, who came second as the best Prime Minister, got 11 percent votes in the January 2022 survey. After this, in August 2022, the former Prime Minister got two percent more 13 percent votes, while in January 2023 it decreased by one percent, he got 12 percent votes. At the same time, in the survey of the best prime minister this month, the vote for the only woman prime minister, Indira Gandhi, has increased by three percentage points.

BJP’s first PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was at number three, got 20 percent votes in January 2022. Whereas in August 22 it was 17 percent. In January this year, he got 16 per cent votes. If you look at the popularity graph of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, it is declining in these four surveys. 

Exactly the same decline has also been seen in the graph of the first Prime Minister. Jawaharlal Nehru got the maximum 9 percent votes in January 22. He got 5 percent votes in August 2022 and this figure remained the same in January this year. While this month he got one percent more votes. 

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who led the country between 2004 and 2014, got seven percent votes in January 2022. 8 percent happened in August 22 and the same was in January 2023. While looking at this month’s figures, he got three percent more votes. Manmohan Singh is at number four in this list.
