India-Canada Relations: The dispute has increased between India and Canada over the murder of Khalistan supporter Hardeep Singh Nijjar. After action from Canada, India also replied ‘tit for tat’.

Meanwhile, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Tuesday (September 19) that we are not trying to provoke India, but Ottawa (capital of Canada) wants New Delhi to handle this issue properly. < /p>

According to Reuters, Trudeau said, “The Indian government needs to take this matter very seriously.” We are doing the same. We are not inciting or trying to escalate this.” Trudeau has claimed a possible connection between Nijjar’s murder and an agent of the Indian government.

Along with the allegations, Canada took action by expelling a senior Indian diplomat. After a few hours, India also took action and expelled the Canadian diplomat.
