PM Modi Joins WhatsApp Channel: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has joined WhatsApp Channel. This feature has recently been introduced in the social messaging app. WhatsApp allows channel administrators to broadcast text, photos, videos, stickers and polls. With the help of the new feature, users can follow the channels of their favorite celebrities.

If a user follows a channel, his phone number will not be visible to the channel administrator and other followers. Apart from this, the channel administrator also gets the option to block screenshots and forwards.  

You will get updates related to the Prime Minister 
WhatsApp had recently introduced this feature in its app. Just a few days after its launch, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has joined the WhatsApp channel. WhatsApp users can now get all the updates of the Prime Minister on the channel also.

PM Modi made the first post on the channel

What is WhatsApp Channel?
It is a one-way broadcast tool for channel admins to send text, photos, videos, stickers and polls. Channels will be found in a new tab called Updates on WhatsApp. Here you will find the status and the channels being followed by you. This is different from chats with family, friends and community.

The number will not be visible to other followers
By following a channel, your phone number will not be visible to the admin or other followers. Who you decide to follow is your choice and it’s personal. Admins will also have the option to block screenshots and forwards from their channel.

Users will be able to search the channel
Users can search any channel to follow it. These channels are automatically filtered based on the country of the users. Apart from this, you can also see such channels which have a high number of followers and are more popular.
