Police made necessary arrangements regarding security
Ganesh Utsav was celebrated across the country from 19 September to 28 September. Today was the immersion of Bappa, for which devotees took out processions in many parts of the country. Devotees were taking Bappa’s idol for immersion while singing and dancing in front of drums. The security arrangements regarding this were also made very tight. The police had made special preparations at many places. In many states, the police had issued strict CCTV arrangements as well as guidelines. The trend of eco-friendly idols was seen. Big and eco-friendly statues of Bappa were installed at many places. Today i.e. on Thursday (28th September) people immersed Bappa and bid him farewell. Now they will hope for his return again next year during the Ganesh Utsav.
