Tomato Hijack: Couple hijacked tomato truck by threatening the farmer, police arrested the miscreants like this

Karnataka Tomato Loot: A shocking case has come to light in Karnataka, where the police have arrested a couple who looted a truck carrying 2,000 kg tomatoes by threatening a farmer. Along with this, the police has also started searching for three other accused. This matter has come to the fore at a time when the prices of tomatoes are skyrocketing across the country. The arrested accused have been identified as Bhaskar and his wife Sindhuja. 

What is the whole matter
Actually, this whole matter is near RMC yard police station near Chikkajala, Bengaluru. The farmer was carrying tomatoes to the Kolar market, as soon as the miscreants caught sight of the tomatoes, the gang chased the vehicle. The miscreants first stopped the vehicle and started fighting with the driver. After threatening the farmer, the miscreants pushed him out and fled with the tomato-laden truck. The accused went to Chennai and sold the tomatoes.

Still the search for the three accused continues
Regarding the case, the police said that the arrested couple has been identified as Bhaskar and his wife Sindhuja. Apart from this, the search is on for three accused, whose names are Rocky, Kumar and Mahesh. Police told that when the truck was hijacked, the consignment of tomatoes was to be delivered to Kolar. The police further told that this incident took place on 8th July. Not only this, the miscreants had also demanded money from the farmer before and had also got the money transferred on online mobile phone. Tomatoes are becoming very expensive in the country at this time due to monsoon and other weather related reasons.
