Telangana Assembly Election: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao targeted the election promises of Congress. He said that if Congress comes to power, the self-respect of Telangana will be mortgaged. He also termed the Congress rule as full of deceit and betrayal.
He made the allegation on Sunday (September 18) in a post on social media platform X, saying, "The Congress rule for half a century was full of ‘fraud, deceit and betrayal’ and the people of Telangana will not believe its lies and imaginary guarantees."
Taunting on Congress
Telangana Minister tauntingly said that if the polygamous Congress is to be trusted then it is certain that farmers will get free electricity. He further said that if ‘Puppets of Delhi’ come to power then it is guaranteed that the self-respect of Telangana will be mortgaged.
Ramarao compared Congress with vultures and said, "If their rule comes, there is full guarantee of the end of Rythu Bandhu..! If Kaalkey (demons) rule then power cuts and darkness are guaranteed in the state..!"
Congress’ election promises
Ahead of the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections, Congress on Sunday (September 17) announced 6 guarantees, including Rs 2,500 per month to women and Rs 500 to gas cylinders. Promise is involved. Apart from this, the party promised to provide 200 units of free electricity to all the houses if it comes to power.
Congress announced 6 guarantees
1- Indiramma Indlu Guarantee
Under this, people who do not have their own house. They will be given land and Rs 5 lakh for this. At the same time, 250 square yards of land will be given to Telangana movement fighters.
2- Mahalaxmi Guarantee Scheme
Under Mahalaxmi Scheme, women will be given Rs 2,500 per month, free bus travel and gas cylinder for Rs 500.
3- Rythu Bharosa
Under this, farmers and tenant farmers will be given Rs 15,000 annually. At the same time, agricultural laborers will get Rs 12000. Not only this, Congress has also promised to give a bonus of Rs 500 on paddy cultivation.
4- Griha Jyoti
Congress has guaranteed to provide 200 units of free electricity to all the houses in the state under the Griha Jyoti Guarantee.
5-Yuva Vikasam
Under this, students will be given Vidya Bharosa cards worth Rs 5 lakh. Also, a Telangana International School will be established in each division. At the same time, the elderly will also get a monthly pension of Rs 4,000.
6- Cheyutha Guarantee
It promises a monthly pension of Rs 4,000 to senior citizens, widows, disabled etc. and health insurance of Rs 10 lakh by Rajiv Aarogyasri.
