Stones pelted at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s convoy in Maharashtra, rear glass broken

Sharad Pawar News: Violence is not taking the name of stopping in Jalna district of Maharashtra. Now stones have been pelted at NCP Chief Sharad Pawar’s convoy. The incident took place when Sharad Pawar was leaving Antarwali village on Saturday (September 2).

Actually, after Friday’s rally, there was a clash between the protesters and the police in Jalna city on Saturday morning. In this, stones were pelted on the team of Sambhajinagar rural police. The police team was in the convoy with Sharad Pawar. When stones were pelted on it. 

The rear window of the vehicle was broken

The rear glass of the police car was broken in the stone pelting. The car of Rural Police Force DSP Devdutt Bhawar has also been vandalised. Let us tell you that there was violence in Maharashtra’s Jalna on Friday over the demand for Maratha reservation.  

Around 40 policemen were injured in the violence

According to the police, about 40 policemen and some other people were injured in the violence. According to news agency PTI, the protesters set ablaze at least 15 state transport buses and some private vehicles. Police have registered an FIR against over 360 people and 16 people allegedly involved in the violence have been identified.
