Shiv Sena UBT MLA’s troubles increase, case registered in Jogeshwari BMC plot and five star hotel case

Ravindra Waikar News: The troubles of Ravindra Waikar, MLA from Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction, seem to be coming to an end. A case has been registered against MLA Vaikar in Jogeshwari BMC plot and five star hotel case. This case was registered by the Economic Offenses Wing of Mumbai. Not only this, Ravindra Vaykar along with his wife and others have also been made accused in the FIR lodged at Azad Maidan Police Station. 

Ravindra Vaykar is accused of misusing the premises of Supremo Club in Jogeshwari and misrepresenting the facts while building a hotel there. This matter is being investigated by the Economic Offenses Wing of Mumbai Police. Earlier, the Bombay High Court had rejected the petition filed by Ravindra Vaykar and four others to cancel the permission given to them to build a luxury hotel in Mumbai. This order was passed in the chamber by the bench headed by Justice Sunil Shukre, however, the High Court has stayed its order for four weeks so that Vaikar can approach the Supreme Court.

According to Live Law, it has been claimed in the petition that in the year 2004, the encroachers along with BMC and the owners of 8 thousand square meter land had 67 percent An agreement was reached to keep the area open under reservation and the remaining land was allowed to be developed. Vaikar claimed that in 2020 he handed over the area to BMC and applied for fresh permission. In 2021, BMC granted development permission to Vaikar and other petitioners. However, in 2022, BMC law officers asked them to submit documents for verification, stating that the permission given to them was canceled on 15 June 2023. Is.
