Sanatana Dharma Remark: Complaint in Delhi Police against DMK MP A Raja for commenting on Sanatana Dharma

Sanatana Dharma Remark: Complaint has been given against Tamil Nadu’s ruling party DMK MP A Raja (A Raja). The DMK MP compared Sanatan Dharma to HIV and leprosy. On Thursday (September 7), a complaint was given against A Raja to the Delhi Police.

Social worker and advocate Vineet Jindal got this complaint lodged. In his complaint, he has accused of insulting Sanatan Dharma, dividing the society on the basis of religion and hurting religious sentiments.

What did DMK MP A Raja say?

Former Union Minister A Raja had said, "Sanatan Dharma is a social disease. Udhayanidhi showed humility in comparing Sanatan with dengue and malaria. This should be compared to HIV and leprosy type diseases. It is more dangerous than these diseases."

Udayanidhi Stalin made the comment

Let us tell you that Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, recently compared Sanatana Dharma to diseases like malaria and dengue and called for its eradication. He had said, "Sanatana Dharma divides people on the basis of religion and caste. Abolition of Sanatan Dharma will be in the interest of maintaining humanity and equality."

BJP criticizes, Congress sidelines

Congress leader Pawan Kheda said on Thursday that Congress believes in ‘Sarvadharma Sambhav’, in which no one can consider any particular faith less than any other faith. Congress doesn’t believe any of those comments.
