Lalu Yadav on ED Raids: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday (March 10) raided the family members of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in connection with the money laundering probe in the job-for-land scam case. and raided the premises of close associates. What did the ED find?
ED seized Rs 53 lakh, US $1,900, about 540 grams of gold and bullion and 1.5 kg of gold jewelery in the raid. According to the news agency PTI, when the ED was raiding a house in South Delhi, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav was present at that time. According to the ED, AK Infosystems Pvt Ltd, located in Delhi’s New Friends Colony, is registered as a beneficiary company, but it was being used by the Yadav family as a residential property.
