PM Modi France Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leaving for France. On July 13 and 14, he will be on his two-day visit to France. This is PM Modi’s fourth foreign trip in the last two months. Earlier, PM Modi went to Japan and Australia in May, while in June he visited America and Egypt. Now PM Modi will be in France. PM Modi has visited France five times since becoming PM in 2014, this will be his sixth visit. During this, many defense agreements can be signed between India and France.
Indian Army contingent will also march
PM Modi will be the chief guest at the Bastille Day Parade in Paris, a contingent of Indian Army will also be seen in this parade. Consisting of soldiers from the Punjab Regiment of the Indian Army, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force, the contingent will march in the Bastille Day parade, accompanied by a band from the Rajputana Rifles. This year India and France are celebrating 25 years of strategic partnership.

Now let’s talk about PM Modi’s schedule during his visit to France. Apart from participating in the parade, PM Modi will also attend several level meetings during his two-day visit. On July 13, on the first day of his tour, PM Modi will address a diaspora program at La Seine Musical. President Macron will then host PM Modi for a dinner at his official residence at the Elysee Palace. There will be formal delegation level talks on the second day i.e. 14th July. On this day, PM Modi will attend the Bastille Day parade as a guest. Apart from this, President Macron will take him on a tour of the Louvre. PM has gone to France five times till now
Talking about PM Modi’s previous visits to France, his first visit was from April 9 to 12, 2015. Which was an official visit. After this, on 1 December 2015, PM Modi reached Paris to participate in the World Climate Change Conference. PM reached France for the third time on 2 to 3 June 2017, where he had his first meeting with President Macron. After this, on August 22 to 23, 2019, PM Modi went to France as part of his official visit. PM Modi made his fifth visit to France on 4 May 2022.
What India expects from PM Modi’s visit?
- Ahead of PM Modi’s visit, France has reportedly offered India the production of an engine that can power twin-engine fighter jets (AMCA) for Indian aircraft carriers and twin-engine deck-based fighters. Will work to strengthen the aircraft (TEDBF).
- India can take Rafale-M (Marine) fighter jets from France. The deal can be confirmed during PM Modi’s visit regarding these. These fighter aircraft can be deployed on INS Vikrant.
- Apart from Rafale aircraft for maritime security, India can also negotiate the purchase of three Scorpene category submarines. This deal is said to be very important.
Tell that the number of Indian expatriates in France is about 5 lakhs. More than 50 Indian community organizations are active in France. According to reports, 10,000 Indian students are currently studying in French colleges and universities.
