PM Modi Birthday: Preparations are going on in full swing for the 73rd birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Before knowing this, let us know about the early life of PM Modi. PM Modi was born on 17 September 1950 in Vadnagar, Gujarat. His father Damodardas Modi used to sell tea. Late mother Hiraben used to help in this. Besides, she also used to wash utensils in other people’s houses. In such a situation, PM Modi’s life was very difficult. Even after this, according to the PMO, he (PM Modi) became the first Prime Minister of the country born in independent India. The country got independence on 15 August 1947. 

PM Modi has decided to become a monk?
PM Modi was married to Jashodaben Modi, but he does not want this. According to News 18, he (PM Modi) took the path of becoming a monk. He traveled to the north and north-east of the country. He returned after two years. 

Joined RSS?
After PM Modi’s return, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)  got included in. He was made a pracharak of RSS in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 1972. After joining the Sangh, his day started at five in the morning. From here PM Modi never looked back. 

History created in Gujarat
PM Modi was made the General Secretary of Gujarat BJP in 1987. He proved himself. With this, BJP won the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation elections for the first time. In the 1990 Gujarat Assembly elections, BJP’s vote share increased and it stood second. After this, BJP got 121 seats in Gujarat in 1995.  PM Modi was made the National Secretary of BJP in 1995. 

Journey from CM to becoming PM
Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first time in the year 2001. He remained CM till 2014. Then Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of the country on 26 May 2014. BJP got complete majority. next Lok Sabha elections i.e. in 2019 Narendra Modi was re-elected. Now there is general election next year. In such a situation, BJP hopes that PM Modi will once again get the keys to power. 

Plan to reach out to OBC
BJP will organize ‘Seva Pakhwada&rsquo on Sunday to commemorate PM Modi’s 73rd birthday; Starting with this, various welfare activities will be organized across the country. This exercise will continue till October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. 

Sunday is also Vishwakarma Jayanti and PM Modi is launching his government’s ambitious plan, ‘Pradhanmantri Vishwakarma’ , which aims to help artisans, craftsmen and others engaged in traditional skills.
