Parliament Special Session: An important meeting of Modi Cabinet will be held this evening amid the special session of Parliament.

Parliament Special Session From Today: A meeting of the Union Cabinet (Modi Cabinet) has been called on the evening of Monday (September 18) amid the special session of Parliament. This meeting will be held at 6:30 pm. According to sources, in the meeting, approval will be given to move the Parliament session from the old building to the new Parliament building.

Apart from this, not much information has been revealed about the issues that will be discussed in the cabinet meeting. Since this meeting has been called on the first day of the special session, the Cabinet is likely to take some major decisions related to the country.

Meeting even before Modi cabinet meeting

Even before the Union Cabinet meeting on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with ministers. This meeting was called in the room of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi. According to sources, ministers Prahlad Joshi, Dharmendra Pradhan, Bhupendra Yadav, Anurag Thakur, Arjun Ram Meghwal and V Muraleedharan attended this meeting. 

Special session of Parliament begins

The five-day special session of Parliament has started from Monday (September 18). It will run till 22 September. The session started in the old Parliament House itself. Prime Minister starts discussion on this topic by remembering the journey of 75 years of Indian Parliament Narendra Modi through his speech.

During his speech to PM Modi, he mentioned the contribution made by the MPs, former Prime Ministers, journalists and all the employees engaged in its various services in the Parliament and expressed his gratitude towards them. He described the transition from the old Parliament House to the new Parliament House as a very emotional moment. 

Proceedings may be transferred to the new Parliament on Monday
