Madhya Pradesh Elections 2023: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has blown the election bugle in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The BJP has released the first list of candidates on Thursday (August 17) even before the announcement of the dates for the upcoming assembly elections in both the states. In which names of candidates were declared for 39 seats in Madhya Pradesh and 21 seats in Chhattisgarh.
Many discussions have started in the political circles regarding the list of candidates released for Madhya Pradesh. Most of the seats in this list of the party are of SC and ST. The party has announced the names of candidates for 8 SC and 14 ST seats in the first list. In such a situation, it is believed that there is no tussle for BJP on reserved seats.
List after CEC meeting
BJP’s Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting was held in Delhi on Wednesday. In which PM Modi, party president JP Nadda, Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, besides Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the state’s organization Some associated leaders also participated. This list has been issued after a thorough discussion in this meeting.
BJP has released the list of candidates before the announcement of election dates, making a new experiment this time. The BJP has divided the 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh into four categories and in this list candidates have been announced for those seats which are considered to be the most difficult.

In the first list released for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections 2023, BJP has announced the names of candidates for the eight seats reserved for SC, Lal Singh Arya from Gohad, Rajesh Kumar Verma from Gunnaur, Anchal Sonkar from Jabalpur East, Mahendra Nagesh from Gotegaon, Rajesh Sonkar from Sonkachh, Rajkumar Meo from Maheshwar, Tarachand Goyal from Tarana, Satish Malviya from Ghatiya were given tickets.

Big announcement on SC-ST seats in Chhattisgarh
BJP has also given tickets to a large number of SCs and STs in the first list released for the Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023. The party has given ticket to Sarla Kosaria from Saraipali, reserved for SC. At the same time candidates have been announced for ST reserved Pratappur, Ramanujganj, Lundra, Dharamjagarh, Marwahi, Kanker, Sihawa, Daundi Lohara, Mohla Manpur, Bastar seats.
