LPG Price Cut: Gas cylinder will be cheaper by Rs 500 if the coalition government is formed in INDIA, claims TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee

Dhupguri Bye Election 2023: All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) general secretary Abhishek Banerjee assured people at a public rally at Dhupguri in Jalpaiguri on Saturday (September 2) that if the ‘India’ coalition comes to power LPG cylinder will be made cheaper by Rs 500.

Interestingly, Abhishek Banerjee did not attack Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary or Mohammad Selim in Dhupguri. In the rally, only BJP remained on the target of Abhishek Banerjee. Earlier on Friday (September 1), both Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary and CPM’s Selim launched a scathing attack on TMC.

Abhishek Banerjee met Rahul Gandhi
Earlier on Thursday there was a meeting between TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Regarding this, West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu had said that we welcome such meetings between two senior leaders of the two major political parties of the country against the BJP. He had said that such meetings should be held regularly. We will discuss strategies to defeat the saffron camp.

Joining his tone, TMC MP Shantanu Sen said that in the present circumstances, the most important thing should be to strengthen the fight against BJP. Sen further said that the state Congress has been more interested in fighting against us than taking on the BJP, but we do not think the central Congress unit agrees.
