ED Raid: ‘Investigating agencies are free to take action within the legal ambit’, Anurag Thakur said after the action on the news portal

Anurag Thakur On ED Raid: Union Minister Anurag Thakur has given a statement on the raid on web portal News Click. He said, if someone has done wrong then he should be investigated. The agencies are independent and carry out their actions within the legal framework. If money has been received through wrong means then action will be taken.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister said, ‘I have no need to give clarification on these raids. If someone has done something wrong then investigating agencies work on it. It is not written anywhere that if you have received money illegally or have committed objectionable work, then the investigating agency cannot work on it. The investigating agencies are independent and they take their action following the rules.’

What did Anurag Thakur say on census and women’s reservation?
Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, census was to be held in the country in 2021 but due to Covid it was not possible to do so.
