People and children living in relief camps due to floods are going through a very difficult and stressful situation at this time. Relief camps have been set up near the Mayur Vihar Phase-1 metro station, where the film Sher Shah, based on the Kargil war, was shown on OTT to relieve the flood victims from mental stress. The film was broadcast on a large projector.

Yamuna’s water level again crossed the danger mark after 12 hours
According to PTI report, the water level of Yamuna in Delhi has again crossed the danger mark after 12 hours due to rain. This morning the water level went above the danger mark of 205.33 metres. According to the Central Water Commission data, the water level of the Yamuna reached 205.48 meters at 8 am, which is expected to rise to 205.72 meters by 6 pm.
The flow rate of water released from Hathinikund barrage saw a marginal increase on Tuesday afternoon, ranging between 50,000 and 60,000 cusecs. Today till seven o’clock in the morning it decreased to around 39,000. One cusec means 28.32 liters of water per second. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has warned of heavy to very heavy rain at different places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh till 22 July. Whereas, there is a possibility of moderate rain in Delhi on Wednesday.
