The guidelines of the Ministry of Health said that if difficulty in breathing, fever, cough persists for more than 5 days, see a doctor immediately. These guidelines were discussed in the month of January. In severe symptoms or high fever, remdesivir (200 mg IV on day 1 followed by 100 mg IV OD for the next 4 days) may be considered for five days.
Wrote letter to these states
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had earlier on Thursday written a letter to the state governments of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka to follow the strategy of test, track, treat and vaccinate.
