How much money was donated to the BJP?
This report states that during the years 2016-17 to 2021-22, donations of Rs 16,437 crore were made to seven national parties and 24 regional parties. found. Citing this ADR report, Khera said that during the year 2016-17 to 2021-22, BJP received a donation of Rs 5,271.97 crore through electoral bonds, while other national parties received only Rs 1,783.93 crore.

He alleged, due to electoral bonds, the system of election funding has become opaque. Everyone including the Election Commission, Supreme Court, Reserve Bank had objections against this bond but it was passed as a money bill. BJP bought MLAs through this and toppled governments.

How is black money converted into white?
The Congress leader alleged that earlier a company could not donate more than 7.5 per cent of its net profit for three years. But BJP removed this limit. He said, now there is no need to tell any company that how much amount was given to whom. It is very opaque. When such huge benami money comes into the account of a party, it becomes clear how black money is converted into white.
