Chandrayaan 3 Landing: The lander of Chandrayaan-3 mission of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully separated from the propulsion module on 17 August. Now on August 18, it is expected to enter the closest orbit of the moon and soft landing on its lunar surface on August 23. Next Wednesday at 5.47 pm, the lander Vikram and the rover Pragyan will land on the south pole of the moon. Before this, on August 18, it will enter the closest orbit to the moon and deboosting will take place and its distance from the moon will be just 30 km.

Chandrayaan-3 will enter the closest orbit today
On August 18 at 4 pm, the lander will enter the closest orbit to the moon and the deboosting process will begin. After entering this orbit, the distance of Chandrayaan from the moon will be only 30 kilometers. However, after entering the orbit, the speed of the lander module will slow down. The lander module consists of the lander Vikram and the rover Pragyan. On August 23, after the soft landing of the lander Vikram on the moon, the rover Pragyan will land and start the study on the moon.
