BJP Vs Mehbooba Mufti: Mehbooba Mufti performed Jalabhishek on Shivling, BJP told ‘nautanki’, said – her temple visit only…

Mehbooba Mufti In Temple: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti offered prayers at the Navagraha temple during her visit to Poonch district. He went round the whole temple and also performed Jalabhishek of Shivling. Not only this, he also showered flowers on the statue of Yashpal Sharma built in the temple premises. Now BJP has targeted Mufti’s temple visit calling it a ‘nautanki’.

BJP says that Mehbooba Mufti’s temple visit is just a political gimmick. BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir unit spokesperson Ranbir Singh Pathania said that in 2008, Mehbooba Mufti and her party had opposed the allotment of land to the Amarnathji Shrine Board. His party did not allow the temporary transfer of land to the Shrine Board for construction. Huts are not allowed for the pilgrims. Now she is doing only drama and nautanki by visiting the temple.

BJP told political gimmick

Ranbir Singh Pathania said that this gimmick of his is not going to be of any benefit to him. If change could be brought through political gimmicks, then Jammu and Kashmir would have been a garden of prosperity today. In fact, on Wednesday (March 15) a video of Mehbooba Mufti’s visit to a temple in Poonch surfaced. In this, she is also seen performing Jalabhishek on Shivling but on this video people have started surrounding her.

‘BJP wants to make a nation, not a Hindu nation’

Earlier, while addressing a public meeting in Poonch district, Mehbooba Mufti had fiercely targeted the central government and the BJP. He had said that the aim of BJP is not to make the country a Hindu Rashtra, but to make it a ‘BJP Rashtra’. He alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party is making alleged attacks on the opposition parties to make India a ‘BJP nation’, on which his party (PDP) will not keep quiet.
