BBC Documentary On PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been blocked on YouTube and Twitter. Even after this, the documentary was shown to the students of Hyderabad University. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, has also lodged a complaint with the authorities regarding this. It is alleged that the students watched a BBC documentary on the campus. At the same time, this film was to be screened in Delhi’s JNU as well but the program was cancelled.
Officials are probing the screening of the documentary in Hyderabad University. BBC documentary inside university campus, according to police "India: The Modi Question" Screening was organized. Police say that cognizance has been taken of this and investigation has also been started regarding the matter. Apart from this, JNU by a group of students "India: The Modi Question" decided to cancel the screening scheduled for 24 January. The JNU administration said that such a documentary could disturb the peace of the campus.
Pamphlets of the screening program were distributed
Pamphlets were distributed regarding the screening program in JNU campus. Not only this, the student union president Aishe Ghosh also shared the poster of the controversial documentary. He also shared the poster of its screening. Jawaharlal Nehru University administration has issued an advisory after this post of Aishi went viral. After this the screening was also canceled here.
