Amritpal Singh: Amritpal Singh’s close friends were sent to Assam jail, what did CM Himanta Biswa Sarma say?

Himanata Biswa Sarma: Waris Punjab De chief and Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh seems to be in trouble. His 4 close ones have been shifted to Dibrugarh Jail in Assam. The reaction of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has also come to the fore on this matter. He has said on Sunday (March 19) that this is the cooperation of the police with the police.

In a conversation with news agency ANI, he said, “Once there was an arrest in Assam, we also shifted some of the accused to Bhagalpur Jail in Bihar for security reasons. Now the Punjab Police must have thought that it is better for these suspects to stay in Assam. This is the cooperation of the police with the police.” The four suspects were first taken to Jorhat in Assam and from there to Dibrugarh in a special aircraft. According to officials, SP Tejbir Singh Hundal led the Punjab Police team, which took them to the northeastern state.

Amritpal Singh declared fugitive

After receiving information about Amritpal Singh’s movement, a massive search operation was started in Punjab on Saturday. According to the Punjab Police, there was no lapse in the chase but he somehow managed to escape by dodging the police. The pro-Khalistan leader was declared a ‘fugitive’ by the police on Saturday night.
