PM Modi Mann Ki Baat: So far this year, three lakh 60 thousand devotees have visited Amarnath Baba. These include two American citizens who had recently visited the holy cave of Lord Shiva. These two foreign devotees have been mentioned by PM Modi in the 103rd episode of Mann Ki Baat.
In Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi said, people from all over the world are coming to our places of pilgrimage. I came to know about two American friends who had come from California for Amarnath Yatra. One of these pilgrims says that coming to Amarnath Yatra was a dream for us, but by the grace of Bholenath we are here today. We can’t even express this feeling that we can’t tell how we feel.
These foreigners are devotees of Swami Vivekananda
According to the American citizen, both of them live in the hermitage of a temple in California. He had told that for the past several years he wanted to come on the Amarnath Yatra. He has been watching Aarti videos on YouTube every day for the past several years.
American pilgrims further said, we have been watching videos of Aarti on YouTube every day for the last few years. We are very grateful and very happy. We are devotees of Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda had come to Amarnath and had a very important experience. He had a vision of Lord Shiva and for 40 years now, I think I know the story. And the other foreign national told that this is the reason why he wanted to come here. It seemed like an impossible dream.
