Aditya L1 Solar Mission: India’s Suryaan Aditya-L1 has successfully completed its first orbit around the earth. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has given this information on Sunday (September 2). The spacecraft has now reached the new orbit.
ISRO’s statement simply means that now Aditya-L1 has reached above the previous orbit. The new orbit is 245 km x 22459 km. Understand this in simple language that the closest point to the Earth in the new orbit will be 245 km, while the point at the maximum distance will be 22,459 km. In the earlier orbit, the closest point to the earth was 235 km and the maximum point was 19000 km.
was launched on Saturday
India’s first sun mission was launched on Saturday (September 2) from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. ISRO’s PSLV-C57 rocket successfully placed the vehicle in Earth’s orbit. Now it will gradually come out of the earth’s orbit while circling and will go towards the Sun.
