ABP C Voter Survey: Will it be fatal for BSP to contest elections alone? Addressed in the survey

ABP C Voter Survey: Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) Supriyo Mayawati targeted the opposition alliance ‘India’ and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), saying that her party alone Lok Sabha elections. C-Voter has conducted a survey for ABP News regarding this decision of former UP CM Mayawati. 

The survey asked whether BSP’s decision to contest alone is fatal for Mayawati? In response, 44 percent people said yes. And 31 percent answered in the negative. 25 percent of the people involved in the survey said that they cannot say anything on this right now.

What did Mayawati say?
BSP Chief Mayawati wrote on social media X on Wednesday (August 30), “The NDA and India alliance is mostly anti-poor casteist, communal, pro-Dhanna Seth And there are parties with capitalist policies. BSP is continuously fighting against their policies and that is why there is no question of contesting elections in alliance with them.” 

He further said that BSP will fight alone in the Lok Sabha and in four states like 2007, by connecting the scattered crores of neglected people of the society on the basis of mutual brotherhood, more than the jugaad of the opponents.  In fact, by the end of this year Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram are to have assembly.

Which parties are not part of ‘India’ and NDA?
Opposition alliance ‘India’ and NDA do not have many parties other than BSP. It has several parties including Telangana CM KCR’s BRS, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress, MP Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM  and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik’s BJD.
