Jawan In Oscar: Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan is making waves at the box office. This film has broken many records at the box office. Worldwide Jawan has collected Rs 850 crores and will soon join the Rs 1000 crore club. Jawan has been directed by Atlee Kumar and he has shared the experience of working with Shahrukh Khan. He has also said that the soldier should be sent for Oscar.
In a special conversation with ETimes, Atlee Kumar said- Three years ago in 2020, I narrated the script of the film to Shahrukh. But we met in the year 2019, so it’s been about 5 years. I narrated the script of the film to Shahrukh through a zoom call. I had never told anyone like this but I had to tell this and there was a lockdown at that time, so I did not wait for things to become normal.

Atlee further said- I asked Shahrukh Khan, can you do this now sir? He said- Let’s meet whenever you are free. Then I said – No sir, I want to do it through zoom call if I am free. He told me that I am not doing anything, let’s do it. So after 5-10 minutes we organized a zoom call and it was a special moment. It took three and a half hours to tell the story of the film. Sir said the script is very good. Let’s work on this. Gauri ma’am also liked it and we started working on it. In the year 2019, Sir gave me this great opportunity. I was completing Bigil at that time. I’ve been young since day one Was working with Shahrukh Khan sir.
