Rhea Chakraborty’s brother got permission to go abroad, Bombay High Court gave permission

Rhea Chakraborty Brother: Bombay High Court has allowed MTV Roadies gang leader Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Shovik to go abroad. Riya and her family have been refused to use their passports. However, Showik has now been allowed to go to Australia for work on several conditions, including his parents surrendering their passports to the authorities.

Showik, who like his sister is an accused in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s drug case registered by the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB), said he was required to go to Australia for seven days for a work-related agenda. Showik Inderjit Chakraborty has been allowed to travel to Australia during the period from September 17, 2023 to September 25, 2023.

Showik will have to give the complete schedule of his foreign travel, including the addresses where he will stay, mobile number on which he can be contacted during the said period. Shovik will have to submit the passports of his parents to the Registrar (Judicial-I) of this Court.

Rhea was in a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput before he was found dead in his Bandra apartment in June 2020. Her father then filed an FIR against Riya for abetment of suicide and money laundering. After this the case was transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Rhea and Shovik were arrested by NCB in September 2020. While Rhea spent a month in Byculla jail and was released, she was later held there till December 2020 before being released on bail.
