Made in Heaven 2: Tarun Tahiliani reprimanded the makers for showing wrong design, said- ‘Trust has been broken’

Made in Heaven 2: The second season of ‘Made in Heaven’, directed by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, has been released recently. The more the audience liked it, the more criticism it had to face. However, a lot of controversies are also coming to the fore regarding this series. Recently, writer Shreya Dutt accused her of using her work without giving credit. At the same time, famous fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani has also come out against the makers of this show. Tarun has recently accused the show of misrepresenting his creation.

Tarun Tahiliani accuses the makers
On Thursday, designer Tarun Tahiliani expressed his anger. He shared some stories on his Instagram account. In which he claimed that the makers of Made in Heaven used his designs and failed to give due credit to him or his label. At the same time, he also alleged that the makers have used the name of an imaginary designer to name the design of the clothes.

Tarun’s anger
In his first story, Tarun shared a picture of himself wearing Mrunal’s outfit and wrote, ‘It’s too bad when a popular OTT series first used clothes in the wrong way. Presents from Its first point is that in important parts of the second episode of Made in Heaven, the clothes violate the stylist’s understanding. It features a fictional designer representing our label. In this my trust has been broken. If this is the intention of the production house then they should have hired a costume designer. Should have got the costume designed and then did what she thought was right.’

‘This should not happen to other designers’
Tarun wrote in his third Insta story, ‘I hope this does not happen to any other designer in future. He has given his work for OTT production. Along with this, he also wrote, ‘Such works will not be accepted in future.’
