Vedika Nawani On OMG 2: Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer film ‘OMG 2’ (OMG 2) is going to hit the theaters very soon. The film was given an ‘A’ by the revising committee of the censor board with 20 edits. Certificate has been given. However, after this the makers are thinking of changing the release date of the film. Meanwhile, actress Vedika Navani, who will be seen in the film, has given many big statements talking openly about the film.
The film was bound to be controversial – Vedika
Talking to Times of India about the film’s controversy, Vedika said, "Controversy was bound to happen on the subject on which the film is made. But I am very excited about the film because it has a very good aim…" While talking about sex education in the film, he said, "I was in secondary school, and then in my science subject there was a chapter on reproductive organs. I was very surprised to read it and at the same time I was feeling very ashamed. "
Scenes in the film shot with ease – Vedika
In this interview, Vedika while talking about periods said, "OMG 2 also talks on the menstrual cycle. But when those scenes were being shot, everything was taken care of very well. Because of which I did not feel awkward at all while shooting. Please tell that apart from Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, Arun Govil, Govind Namdev and Yami Gautam are also going to be seen in important roles in this film.
The film will be released on the scheduled date
Let us tell you that this film is going to release on August 11, but with so many changes suggested by CBFC, the makers are finding it a bit difficult to release it on the scheduled date. However, when ETimes spoke to one of the producers, Ashwin Varde, he confirmed that the film will release on the given date i.e. August 11.
