Guneet had said that, “We had made The Lunchbox very sincerely, I was very excited when the film was going to Cannes Film Festival. But we did not have money to go to Cannes..even At that time we were very nervous even in booking Irrfan sir’s room. Then suddenly our sales agent had another big film. Whose actress refused to come to Cannes and we got her luxury room for free and we gave it to Irrfan sir.”
