In an interview given to Bollywood Life, trade analyst Komal Nahta talked about Gadar 2 and OMG 2 and said, ‘You cannot name Gadar 2 and OMG 2 together. This will not be good for Gadar 2.’
Komal Nahta said, ‘If we talk about lifetime business, it will be around Rs 450 crore, but it is possible that this business will grow further and become Rs 500 to 550 crore’.

Komal Nahata further said, ‘The makers have released Gadar 2 at a good time. The film has got good benefits of Independence Day and Parsi New Year. However, if OMG 2 had not been released, this figure could have increased even more.
