Finally one day Gurmeet Chawla started getting work in films and advertisements. Junior Jaspal Bhatti has also worked with veteran actors of the century like megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the recently released Bollywood movie Good Bye. Currently, he is playing an important role in Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming new film. Apart from this, he has also won the hearts of the audience in many famous films like The Accidental Prime Minister and Total Dhamaal. Gurmeet Chawla has also played the lead role very well in the advertisement of the recently released online food delivery app Swiggy. Along with this, Gurmeet has also acted in many web series.

Made an identity after coming out of a small town
Gurmeet Singh Chawla is a resident of Yamunanagar, Haryana. He told News18 that if anyone supported him during this struggle, it was only God and his mother. He used to come to anchor small programs held in the city during the gift shop and many times he had to be disappointed. He got his first job in a show in which he got Rs 250, but he never lost courage. When his hobby became a passion, Gurmeet Singh closed his gift shop in 2015 and moved to Mumbai with his mother. After 2015, Gurmeet Chawla’s entire focus was only on acting, then he got work in his first movie Happy Bhag Jayegi with Jimmy Shergill, in which he played the anchoring role. He has also worked in National TV serials Jiji Maa, Ishq Mein Marjawan, Crime Patrol etc.

Working with Amitabh Bachchan was a joke
According to Gurmeet, when he was told that he has been selected for a film with Amitabh Bachchan, he first thought it was a joke. But when he was actually in front of the megastar of the century, his happiness knew no bounds. In the Bollywood film Good Bye, she got a chance to do a scene with Amitabh Bachchan, in which actor Ashish Vidyarthi was also present. He also had a personal discussion with Amitabh Bachchan on the set. According to Gurmeet, Bachchan Saheb told him that his mother was also from a Sikh family. At the same time, Gurmeet’s dream is to make the name of Yamunanagar and Haryana shine in the film industry.
