Mumbai. Many times in a film, the supporting actors leave more of a mark than the lead actors. Actresses were always shown good in the films of yesteryear. In such a situation, it was not so easy to present an actress as a villain in the film. In the 80s, Subhash Ghai had done a similar experiment in which the actress was presented in such a manner that the audience was shocked. The subject of the film was new, so when the film was released, the audience could not digest it so easily and it proved to be average. But with time the film was declared a cult classic.
