I started feeling that the stars with whom I worked were not educated and did not know anything about the world. I am more intelligent than them and my understanding of the world is much more than theirs. So their stupidity drags me down. They are so stupid that they drag you down with them.

Vivek further said – Indian cinema does not have power because of the artists. These actors often lack depth, which negatively affects directors and writers. They underestimate the intelligence of the audience. As a writer and director, my film’s value is equal to that of the film’s star. The identity of the film comes not from me, but from the star who may lack depth. So, I have mentally distanced myself from Bollywood.
He further said- Bollywood shows the same type of film to the audience, just adds a little excitement to it. He said- The audience is very intelligent. If you give her good material, she will see.
