Shilpa Shetty’s pain spilled after years, disclosed about the list of ‘Top-10 Actress’, said- lack of opportunity… but

New Delhi. Born on 8 June 1975 in Mangaluru, Karnataka, Shilpa Shetty started her film career with the film ‘Baazigar’. This film was released in the year 1993. Through this film, she made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. It has been 30 years since this film was released. With this, Shilpa has completed 3 decades in Bollywood. Interestingly, Shilpa today hosts TV shows along with films. Amidst all this, Shilpa has made an interesting disclosure about her career.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Shilpa Shetty talked about the early days of her career. During this, she recalled how she was never counted in the list of top-10 actresses of her time.

Answering a question in the conversation, he said, “I think there is always poetic justice in life. I was never in the list of top-10 actresses. I must have received a lot of love and appreciation, but was never counted in the list of top-10 actresses. Call it lack of opportunity or something else, I don’t know. Today though, look at me! I am doing the biggest series, I have just finished shooting for a film. I am doing a multilingual film and I have nothing to complain about today. We all have a journey of our own. I have made a mark on TV, my brands are doing well.”

Talking about Shilpa’s professional life, she was last seen in Sabbir Khan’s action-comedy film Nikamma. Now in the coming days, she will be seen in the film ‘Sukhi’ along with others including Amid Sadh and Kusha Kapila. In the film, Shilpa will be seen playing the role of a Punjabi housewife who travels to Delhi with her friends to attend their school reunion after 2 decades.
