New Delhi. ‘Gadar 2’ actress Ameesha Patel is in limelight these days. The recently released film ‘Gadar 2’ of the actress has created panic at the box-office. After the immense success of ‘Gadar 2’, Ameesha Patel has been in constant discussion. She has been giving back-to-back interviews since the film became a blockbuster. In a recent interview, the actress has made many revelations related to her career. According to Ameesha Patel, she was offered films by many veteran directors of Bollywood.
In a recent interview to Siddharth Kannan, the actress told that like Amrita Rao, her manager also cheated her. During the conversation, while praising film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his films, Ameesha Patel says, “I was going to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in many films. I do not want to name those films because those films have already been made. It was my bad luck that Sanjay Leela Bhansali and my manager at that time did not get along at all.
Things didn’t work out because of the manager-
She further adds, “After parting ways with the manager, Sanjay sir told me that we could work together in a film, but he did not want to work with my manager”. According to the actress, Yash Raj Films, Sajid Nadiadwala and many veteran directors wanted to work with her. But due to the manager of the actress, she could not talk to any filmmaker.
Crossed the figure of 500 crores
Let me tell you, Ameesha Patel returned to the screen after a long time with ‘Gadar 2’ and what a tremendous comeback. ‘Gadar 2′ has emerged as the highest-grossing film of the actress’ career. ‘Gadar 2’ has earned a whopping Rs 500 crore at the box-office.
In the film ‘Gadar 2’ directed by Anil Sharma, along with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, director’s son Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur have played lead roles. You know Actress Simrat Kaur has made her Bollywood debut with ‘Gadar 2’.
