The film was a super hit at the box office doing a business of 12 crores. Although you will be surprised to know that Ajay-Karisma worked for the last time in this film. Ajay shared the screen five times with Karishma

The controversy escalated so much that the angry producer removed Ajay and Karisma from the superhit song ‘Gore Gore Mukhde Pe Kala Kala Chashma’. When the shooting of the film started, there was a lot of commotion and the shooting of the film also ended. At the same time, after the shooting of the film was over, there was some rift between Akshay Kumar and the producer, due to which he refused to dubbing the second half of the film. However, when the film was released, it did well at the box office.
