Rakhi dubbed as The Return Of Kaaliya: Rakhi is a Telugu action drama film starring our favorite Bollywood heroine Ileana D’Cruz and Jr NTR. This film, released in 2006, was declared a superhit at the box office. So much so that this film was later dubbed into Hindi as ‘The Return of Kalia’ in 2007. The content of the film is different but its Hindi title makes the film humorous rather than action.

Yogi- Maa Kasam Badla Lunga: Yogi is a Telugu language action drama film directed by V.V. Vinayak and starring Prabhas who made the mega hit Baahubali with Nayanthara. This was their first film together in 2007. The film was shot internationally. The songs were shot in Canada, Egypt and Malaysia. Although the film was successful but when its Hindi title came, all the excitement ended. Yogi has been renamed as Maa Kasam Badla Lunga by RKD Studios and is a film worth watching..

Mard Ki Zabaan 2 – Mogudu: When you translate the meaning of Moguru, it actually means husband. But only they know what the dubbing people thought. Because the dubbed title is called – Mard Ki Zaban Aur Phir 2 Hai. The film is the story of how a man truly becomes a husband when he understands his wife and wins her love and it stars Taapsee and Gopichand. It cannot be denied that each of these films will be worth watching, but the titles are laughable.

Parugu- Flying Munda: We all know the fate of Flying Jatt. It seems that while dubbing they could not think of a better Hindi title than this. The Telugu film titled Parugu is a romantic action film starring Allu Arjun, who is very famous in the South. And the plot doesn’t indicate why the film should be named Flying Munda. The film revolves around a man named Neelkanth and his love for his two daughters Subbalakshmi and Meenakshi.

Thimuru- The Return Of Zid: Somehow the title ‘The Return Of Zid’ seems more appropriate for the film. Because Thimiru is the story of an ordinary boy who is completing his medical studies and how circumstances force him to become a villain. The 2006 Tamil film was one of the highest-grossing films of 2006, but the Hindi dubbed title makes it seem like a typical Sunny Deol film. The makers really needed to be creative with the Hindi dubbed titles.

Athisaya Ulagam- Dinosaur Mere Saath: This is India’s first film to feature dinosaurs and it definitely deserves a better film name. Tamil films have always been progressive as far as their science fantasy is concerned and if they wanted the rest of India to see their magic on screen, they could have had a more creative title to start with.
