‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ fame Atul Parchure is suffering from a serious illness, the doctor’s wrong treatment had increased the problems

New Delhi. You must have seen Atul Parchure in different roles in Kapil Sharma’s show. With his entry, he would have brought a smile on people’s faces. But the actor recently gave an update about his health, after hearing which the fans are now worried about his health. Atul Parchure is a well-known name in TV as well as Marathi cinema. Recently he revealed that he is battling a painful illness.

Atul Parchure, 56, recently revealed that he is suffering from cancer. The actor told how he came to know about this disease and how is his health now.

How did you feel that something is wrong
In a conversation with ETimes, he revealed his illness. Atul told that it was my 25th wedding anniversary. When we went to Australia and New Zealand, I was fine. But after a few days I was not able to eat anything. I thought something was wrong. Later my brother gave me some medicines but they did not help me at all.

Atul Parchure is battling liver cancer
After visiting several doctors, I was asked to undergo ultrasonography. When the doctor did this, I saw fear in his eyes and felt that something was wrong. I was told that I have a tumor about 5 cm long in my liver and it is cancerous. I asked him whether I would be fine or not, and he said, ‘Yes, you will be fine.’ However, the treatment backfired on me and my health continued to deteriorate and the surgery was also delayed.

‘Wrong treatment worsened my condition’
Atul further said that after coming to know my first procedure went wrong. After finding out, my very first procedure had gone wrong. My pancreas got affected and I started having problems. Wrong treatment had actually worsened the condition. I could not even walk. I stammered while talking. In such a situation, the doctor asked me to wait for a month and a half. They said that if they do surgery, I will have jaundice for years and my liver will be filled with water or I will not survive. Later I changed the doctor and took proper medication and chemotherapy.

Regret not being able to work with Kapil
Atul Parchure regrets that he is unable to work with Kapil because of this reason. He said that I have been doing Kapil Sharma for many years. He called me to play Sumona’s father. I could not perform in those episodes because of my cancer. The actor said that he missed working with the team due to his health or else he could have accompanied them on their international tour.
