Apart from Atlee, the film marks the big Bollywood debut of Nayanthara, who is known as the Lady Superstar down south. Vijay Sethupathi has played the role of a villain in the film and he is also a big name in Tamil cinema. Not only this, composer Anirudh Ravichander, editor Ruben, cinematographer GK Vishnu, choreographer Shobi and art director Muthuraj have also entered the Hindi film industry through Jawan. Even the comedy artist in the film is not from Hindi but South actor Yogi Babu who did a cameo in ‘Chennai Express’, shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Jawaan’.
