It’s a joke
Responding to K Annamalai’s allegations, DMK MP RS Bharathi said that it is a joke. They said, "There is not a single allegation of payment of bribe. All the candidates listed by Annamalai have given details of their assets in their affidavits. If there is even one violation, any citizen can challenge the election."
An attempt to divert attention from the Adani-Arudhara scam
Responding to Annamalai’s allegations, Bharathi said, "LIC Bhawan was built decades ago for Rs 87 crore. Now it is worth thousands of crores. All our leaders will approach the court, and they will have to appear in the court."
RS Bharti challenged BJP leader Annamalai to file a case against him to prove his bribery charges of Rs 200 crore. They said, "Annamalai is trying to divert attention from Adani’s name in Hindenburg report and Arudhara scam."
On alleged corruption in Chennai Metro Rail, he asked what the central probe agency CBI was doing since 2014.
