Delhi Traffic Advisor: Delhi Police issued traffic advisory for the day of inauguration of the new Parliament House, these roads will remain closed

New Parliament Building Ceremony Traffic Advisory: Delhi Traffic Police has made special arrangements to keep the traffic smooth regarding the inauguration of the new Parliament House on May 28, 2023. Many VVIPs/VIPs and other dignitaries will attend the function in the program. Delhi Police

New Delhi district will be considered as controlled area. Only public transport vehicles, civil service candidates, bonafide residents of this district, labeled vehicles and emergency vehicles will be allowed to move in New Delhi district. All roads around Jantar Mantar that lead to the Parliament will be closed. Apart from this, a large number of police force and paramilitary personnel will also be deployed.

Also Mother Teresa Crescent Road, Talkatora Roundabout, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Gol Dak Khana Roundabout, Ashoka Road, Patel Chowk Roundabout, Ashoka Road, Windsor Place Roundabout, Janpath, Roundabout MLNP, Akbar Road, Roundabout GKP, Teen Murti Marg, Round about Teen Murti and Mother Teresa Crescent Road will be considered as regulated areas. Only civil service candidates, bonafide residents, labeled vehicles and emergency vehicles will be allowed to move within this zone.

Traffic Police has said that road users are requested to plan their journey in advance accordingly and come en route to New Delhi district from 05:30 am to 3 pm for their convenience. Avoid going.

General public and motorists are advised to maintain patience, follow traffic rules and road discipline and follow the directions of traffic police personnel posted at all intersections and Delhi Traffic Police Facebook page, Twitter handle , keep updating yourself through website and helpline.

It is further stated that the Civil Services candidates (whose examination centers are located in New Delhi district) are requested to plan their travel a little early and keep sufficient time with them to avoid inconvenience.
