CSK’s new jersey Dhoni launched, such an honor given to the Indian Army


Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the franchise team that has won the Indian Premier League (IPL) three times, on Wednesday launched its new jersey, which also features ‘camouflage’ while honoring the Indian Army. The franchise has three stars above the logo of the franchise in Jersey, reflecting the title wins in 2010,2011 and 2018. Apart from this, his ‘camouflage’ has also been inserted as a tribute to the Armed Forces of India.

CSK CEO KS Vishwanath said, ‘It has been a long time that we have been thinking how to raise awareness about the important and selfless service of the armed forces. This ‘camouflage’ is our respect for the same service. He is our real hero. The team also released a video on Twitter in which captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is launching the new jersey.

CSK highly respects the Indian Army and gave him a check of Rs 2 crore at the beginning of the 2019 IPL season. Apart from this, Dhoni is also an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army and has also trained with the Parachute Regiment in 2019. The jersey has been redesigned for the first time since the first season of IPL 2008.
