Maharashtra Covid-19 Case: 236 new cases of corona have been registered in Maharashtra today. At the same time, the number of active patients of Corona in the state is 1 thousand 308. The highest number of active patients are in Pune, Mumbai, Thane, Nashik and Ahmednagar.
52 cases of corona registered in Mumbai
If we talk about Mumbai, then 52 new cases of corona were registered in Mumbai alone today i.e. on Sunday. With this, the number of active corona patients in Mumbai has increased to 279. At present, 17 corona patients are admitted in the hospital in Mumbai, out of which 6 patients are on oxygen. At the same time, during the investigation, 52 patients were found in whom symptoms of corona were not seen.
According to the information, the recovery rate from Corona in Mumbai is 98.3%. Let us inform that there has been a sudden increase in the cases of corona in Maharashtra since last one week. In the last 2 months, less than 50 cases were being reported daily in the state.
Ministry of health worried about increasing cases of corona in Maharashtra
The Union Health Ministry has also expressed concern over the increase in corona cases in Maharashtra. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan wrote a letter to Maharashtra Chief Secretary Sanjay Khandare on Thursday, in which he said that till March 8, there were 355 cases of corona in Maharashtra, which increased to 668 till March 15. It was further stated in the letter that the corona positivity rate in Maharashtra till March 15 was 1.92, which was higher than India’s positivity rate of 0.61 per cent.
