Meanwhile, the number of states reporting more than 2,000 new cases in the last seven days has increased from four in the past week to 10. Overall, India has reported over 61,500 new cases in April 9-15, an increase of 81 per cent over the previous seven days (34,011 cases). The death toll has crossed the 100-mark with 113 deaths in these seven days.
