Talking about the figures of deaths due to Corona, the number of people who lost their lives due to Kovid has reached 24 in the capital in the last one week. While neighboring Haryana reported 4,554 new cases from April 9 to 15, which is the fourth highest number of cases in the country, and Uttar Pradesh stood at number five with 3,332 cases.
The condition of Kerala and Maharashtra
With a four-fold increase in corona cases in Rajasthan, 14 deaths due to the virus were reported. Talking about Kerala, Kerala is leading in the cases of Kovid. From 9 to 15 April, 18,623 new cases were seen in the state. At the same time, this epidemic has left no stone unturned in Maharashtra as well. The state stood third with 7,664 cases.
More than 2 thousand cases in these states
The states that have reported more than 2,000 new cases in the last seven days are Tamil Nadu (3052 cases), Karnataka (2253 cases), Gujarat (2341 cases), Himachal Pradesh (2163 cases) and Rajasthan (2016 cases). Meanwhile, the number of states reporting more than 2,000 new cases in the last seven days has increased from four in the past week to 10. Overall, India has reported over 61,500 new cases in April 9-15, an increase of 81 per cent over the previous seven days (34,011 cases). The death toll has crossed the 100-mark with 113 deaths in these seven days.
